Blog Requirements
Before you post another assignment on the blog, there are some guidelines to follow:
#1-Label the post with the assignment NUMBER and TITLE
#2-Label the images with first names, locations, element and/or principle used, etc.....
#3-Open up your comment category on your blog by going to DESIGN, COMMENTS,
BEFORE you press the shutter release on any future image for class, THINK about the image. Consider some basic rules of composition:

#3-LEADING LINES; direct the viewer and check all vantage points before you shoot any image
#4-UN-CLUTTER; keep your backgrounds free of distracting subjects or clutter
#5-MERGERS; be careful to check that your subjects do not have trees or other odd items growing from their heads

Homework #6 - Leading Lines
CHANGE NOTICE!!!!!! Assignment #6 for your homework has been changed. The assignment is to shoot ten images using the leading lines to direct the viewer's eye. Use the notes over the power point that was given in class as examples. LOOK. Get out and make some strong compositions; don't just shoot around your house. Try moving yourself and the cameras to create different angles to lead the viewer into the subject you have chosen.
Be selective and be creative. All of the assignments in this course include looking and making decisions before you press the shutter release. They can all be completed in and around town-BUT YOU NEED TO LOOK AT YOUR SURROUNDINGS WITH NEW EYES. The images can be completed without traveling to great lengths; but you have to be willing to do the work, not just push a button.

Homework #5 - Effects of Time
Your homework due on September 21st is to show the effects of time. It could be a person or a thing that could be aged/ wilted/ deserted/ abandoned/ lost. Be creative and LOOK at the world around you to find these images.
Classwork - Photo Booth
You have had an opportunity to work with Photo Booth on the computers.
Take several of your images and upload them to your blog, and be sure to label them and the assignment. In addition, begin the assignment of the split images. Two are required- one horizontal and one vertical and then the images will be put into photoshop and a layer or filter will be added. Once that assignment is completed; upload the images.
Everyone needs to comment on four of the divisional portraits once they have been uploaded.
